Requirements

Interest in chemical processes, practical concrete activities such as operating or assembling machines and testing activities, dealing with data, figures, measuring, control and documentation systems.

Chemical technicians usually work in companies in the chemical industry, e.g. manufacturers of fertilizers, adhesives, pesticides and disinfectants, producers of cosmetics, in the paints and coatings industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the plastics processing industry or in mineral oil processing companies.
