Development of new systems and materials for electrolyzers and fuel cells
Joint booth Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (Hall 2, Booth B24)

Electrolyzers and fuel cells are key technologies for the climate-neutral transformation of our energy system. However, the costs for their production are still very high – due to both expensive materials and the complex structure of the stacks. We are working on new materials and systems for electrolyzers and fuel cells to enable the industrialization of production. We will be providing insights into our solutions and services at the Hannover Messe from March 31 to April 4, 2025.
We will be represented at the joint Fraunhofer booth (Hall 2, Booth B24) with several exhibits: a seal-free PEM electrolysis stack, seal-free PEM fuel cells, ultra-thin composite bipolar plates, CO2 electrolysis and a video table. These bipolar plates, which are produced using our proprietary calendering process, form the basis for the seal-free design. They consist of conductive, thermoplastic-based foils that are manufactured cost-effectively in a continuous powder-to-roll process, and enable stacks and fuel cells to be welded and built without seals.
Specifically, our services include:
This sounds interesting? Then stop by at booth B24 in Hall 2 during the Hannover Messe. We look forward to the exchange.
