How can the energy transition be shaped in industry, business and transportation? The exhibition "Power2Change – Mission Energiewende" is dedicated to this question. It was developed jointly by partners from research, the museum sector and science communication – including Fraunhofer UMSICHT and the joint project Carbon2Chem®.

Exhibition and supporting program

The exhibition sheds light on the path to a climate-neutral future and presents solutions for a secure and affordable supply of energy and raw materials. It is accompanied by a dialog-oriented supporting program for various target groups. It ranges from comic workshops for schoolchildren, pub quizzes and science slams to a debate in the House of Commons.

Project partners and funding

The exhibition was created as part of the joint project "Knowledge Communication Energy Transition". It is coordinated by Fraunhofer UMSICHT and DECHEMA e. V. The exhibition was developed by the LWL-Industriemuseum, Westphalian State Museum of Industrial Culture, and the Klimahaus® Bremerhaven. "Wissenschaft im Dialog" is responsible for the supporting program and project communication. The Kopernikus projects, the joint project Carbon2Chem® together with Fraunhofer UMSICHT, the Fraunhofer Cluster CINES and other partners are contributing the scientific content. The conception of the exhibition and its reception are supported by the Technical University of Ilmenau in terms of communication science. The joint project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
